Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College was established in 1973. It is registered under Section 2f and 12b of the UGC Act, 1956.

The College is managed by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee. S. Bhupinder Singh Chadha is the Chairman of the Governing Body and Dr. Man Mohan Kaur is the Principal. The college has about 1800 students on roll in the various courses offered here.

Objective of the institution is to impart education to young evolving minds and inculcate in them a spirit of devotion and professionalism. Students here are encouraged to think, imagine, analyse, assess and express themselves through various activities such as interaction, dialogue, creative writing, playing, acting etc. All assistance, be it technical, infrastructural, informational, motivational or guidance, is provided to students to make them strive to excel in the area of their choice.

The environment in the college enables students to interact freely with one another. Having left the secure and strictly controlled precincts of school behind them, boys and girls here learn to find a place for themselves in their own individualistic way in a friendly and cordial environment. This along with their NSS and NCC experience prepares them to work for an inclusive society and make them responsible and proactive members of society.
